DAY 7 / TOP KNOT
Hey, Dirty Girls, it’s the last day! I am so incredibly proud of you for sticking with me for the entire week. We’ve got a special one today and play with accessories to elevate our look.
Step 1: Top Knot
Up, up, and away
The base is super important because it builds the foundation! Next, pull all of your hair up into a bun/top knot with a rubber band and secure it with bobby pins. This is very simple and fast, but looks amazing!
Step 2: Accessorize
Add a cherry on top!
Although the execution of this last style is fast and easy, you can take your hairdo into the next level by accessorizing. My favorites include scarves or barrettes. You can take a scarf and tie it around your head (like where a headband would go!) This makes your entire outfit look chic and put together. Bold and fun barrettes can also spice up this style. I love tortoiseshell and pearl barrettes! There are also ways outside of hair accessories to just pull your look together. My secret is wearing a bold lipstick color and big, statement earrings.
