Dirty Girls! How’d you guys sleep with those braids in? It’s a beautiful day for beachy waves. Keeping them in last night is going to be so worth it because this style is so fast, easy, and fun. No tool necessary. Lets go!

Step 1: Rapunzel. Let Your Hair Down!

I usually check to see if my hair is still damp because my thick strands usually take so long to dry. If your locks have lost that residual dampness, you are ready. Take out the rubber bands and let those gorgeous locks fall out! You are going to get these gorgeous, textured waves that are perfect for summer. I am loving how the waves start a little bit down below my eyes; that’s because I started those braids there! I love that my curls already have a really beautiful shine because of that yummy Marula Oil Intensive Mask*. It does feel a little heavy because of the product but we are going to totally embrace it. I love the way it’s looking, I love the way it feels hydrated. We are going to make it work.

Step 2: Refresh

The first way to get some more life into your hair is to use some dry shampoo like the Paul Mitchell Dry Wash*. Spray it a little ways from your head, concentrating on the top and the roots where the oil builds up. Spraying underneath can also give your hair some volume! Next, let’s break up the waves and give it some volume with the Invisiblewear Cloud Whip Hair Styling Cream*. This texturizing cream made with soft velvet flower will help bring the softness to your hair and give it more of an interesting feel. It has just a little control in it to give those strands a little more energy. Use your palms and fingers to evenly bring the product throughout your hair. Then, just to finish it off, I’m going to take the Awapuhi Texturizing Sea Spray*! Spritz and gently run your fingers throughout your hair to bring the product’s full potential out.
