Peace, Love, and Happiness Ride in Style

Hey Friends,

Giving back is alwyas in style!

I finally had the chance to experience what my husband says is one of the greatest experiences in his life, The Peace, Love, And Happiness ride in Austin, TX. Every year he goes, he comes back to tell me how life changing it was. I think… “ how is riding a motorcycle, life changing? Well, this time found out! I was totally down for the #ride. I just needed to make sure I looked cute on the bike!! Check out how we made it happen and made some new friends along the way!

What is The Peace, love and Happiness Ride?

The Peace*Love*Happiness Charity Motorcycle Ride was conceived in 2002 while two bikers were riding through the Texas Hill Country. During a pit-stop at Poodies Hill Top, John Paul Dejoria, "Captain of Industry" and "Steward of the Planet", along with his long time friend and riding buddy, Gary Spellman, decided to take a stand after hearing how horribly an Austin Police Officer was being criticized for risking his life to save another. That day, the Peace*Love*Happiness was born. They would go on to create an event that helped and supported the families of fallen peace officers and any and all abused and neglected children. Since then, the event has gone on to support not only the 100 Club of Central Texas but global causes as well, such as The Water Keepers Alliance. Every year they ride to support and raise money to give back. JP always says Unshared success is failure...

who Goes?

This is an invite only ride and is sold out for life. It’s one of those things that you have to “know someone” to be invited. Well good for me my husband is cool. I was his plus one and mighty cute one if i might add.

What do you do?

It’s a weekend filled with making new friends, riding motorcycles, eating great food, drinking, and music that ends up going all night. The only rules are, No Business and Have Fun!!

What about the Hair?

Don’t worry! I got you!

Let’s be honest. Your going to be on a bike, your wearing a helmet and the whole #let the wind blow through through your hair, is kind of the whole idea. Right?! So the idea is set your hair so it has time to fall out and you still look fab when you get off the bike. I found that having tight curls and great protection spray set me up to win!!
