DAY 2 / THE TOUCH-UP

What’s up everybody, it’s Day 2! Today, we are going to address the Touch-Up. This is a simple style, and we are not going to go through all of the steps on that first day. I call it my “Blow-Dry in a Bottle.” Let’s get started!

Step 1: Dry Wash

Freshen up!

Spray dry shampoo anywhere you are starting to get a little bit greasy and might need a little bit of lift. Take sections of the hair, holding the spray bottle at a distance from the head, and work the product into the strands with your fingers. Most dry shampoos either suck up dirt and oil or deodorize your hair. I love Paul Mitchell’s Dry Wash because it does both! Your hair will have a really clean, fresh feeling, it doesn’t get built up into your hair. Especially, if you use just enough; remember, this Blow-dry in a Bottle can be done every single day. After you’re done, you can “zhuzh” up your hair at the top to give it a little more volume and life!

Step 2: Treatment Oil

You deserve to shine

For the ends, if you want to add a little more moisture and shine, I like to use the Awapuhi Styling Treatment Oil. I’m only going to use about half a pump of that, rub it between my hands and just concentrate on working the product through the ends. It gives your hair a really great polish, adds some strength. Give the strands at the front, the ones that are a little fragile some love!

Step 3: Styling

Elevate the look

I usually give my hair a little bit of a break from heat on Day 2 but if you have some kinks, you can take your smoothing iron at a lower temperature (around 320 degrees) and just do a few touch-ups. I actually like my Day 2 hair a little more because it looks natural and gets better the more you work with it.

Easy, breezy, and a few minutes later, you’re looking sexy.
